The Alpinestars Andes v3 Drystar® Jacket is engineered for riders seeking durable weather protection and high-level safety features. Crafted with Alpinestars exclusive Drystar® construction, this jacket offers 100% waterproofing combined with excellent breathability, ensuring comfort during challenging riding conditions. Its advanced construction enhances abrasion resistance and provides reliable protection, making it suitable for all weather scenarios. The jacket is Tech-Air® 5 compatible, allowing integration with Alpinestars' advanced airbag system for added safety on the road.
Designed with a reinforced polyfabric textile, the Andes v3 jacket features a newly developed direct ventilation system (DVS) with zippered chest air intakes and back exhaust ports to maximize airflow and keep riders cool. The internal impact protection is facilitated by removable elbow and shoulder protectors, which can be replaced or upgraded for personalized safety. The jacket also includes compartments that can accommodate Nucleon chest and back inserts, sold separately, for enhanced impact absorption. Reinforced polymer-printed texturing in critical elbow and lower arm areas provides additional abrasion resistance where it counts.
Safety is further enhanced with reflective details for improved visibility in low-light conditions. Practical features include upper chest zippered hand pockets that work with ventilation openings to regulate cooling airflow, front waterproof cargo pockets for secure storage, and a large external utility pocket on the lower back along with internal pockets and a waterproof wallet pocket. The soft edge collar and 3D mesh construction improve comfort during long rides. The premium YKK® zipper ensures secure closure, while the removable long-sleeve thermal liner offers adaptability for different temperatures. Pre-contoured sleeves with accordion stretch panels provide freedom of movement, and the hook-and-loop waist adjustment belt allows for a highly customized fit.
