Why is spoke tension critical to a laced motorcycle wheel assembly?
Laced wheels rely on the uniform tension of all individual spokes to distribute external load forces equally across the entire outer rim. If spokes become loose, the rim will quickly warp out of true under side-loads, resulting in high-speed wheel wobble.
