Boots & Footwear

The right boots protect your ankles, feet, and shins through whatever the ride throws at them, and the wrong ones put you at serious risk the moment something goes wrong. Mad Lads Moto stocks riding boots across every discipline: rigid MX and off-road boots built for track and trail punishment, waterproof ADV touring boots designed for long miles across mixed terrain, street and sport riding boots with CE-rated ankle protection for pavement riders, and casual moto-inspired footwear for riders who want protection and style off the bike. Whether you are pinning it on a motocross track, crossing a mountain pass on an adventure tourer, commuting through the city, or just repping the lifestyle on foot, we have the footwear built for it across men's, women's, and youth sizing.

Can I use MX boots for trail and enduro riding?

Yes, but with a tradeoff. MX boots offer the highest level of ankle and impact protection available, making them a solid choice for aggressive trail and enduro riding. The downside is that their rigid construction limits walkability, which matters on technical sections where you are hiking the bike or putting feet down frequently. Dedicated enduro and trail boots split the difference: they provide serious ankle protection similar to MX boots but with more flex and grip underfoot for mixed terrain use. For casual trail riding and dual sport, a mid-height ADV boot or enduro boot is often the more practical choice.

What should I look for in a street riding boot?

For street riding, prioritize boots that cover and protect the ankle, include CE-certified ankle and toe protection, and are constructed from abrasion-resistant leather or reinforced synthetic materials. A street riding boot should have a sole that grips well on pegs and pavement without being so thick or rigid that it reduces feel on the controls. Many street boots are styled to look like casual footwear while hiding serious internal protection, making them practical for riders who commute or want to wear their boots off the bike without looking like they just came off a racetrack.
