The ProTaper Yamaha YZ65 Rear Aluminum Sprocket - 46 Teeth - Black is a 46-tooth rear sprocket built from 7075-T6 heat-treated billet aluminum and finished with a deep-penetrating anodized black coating that resists corrosion and improves wear life. ProTaper machines an angled mud groove into both sides of every tooth, which sheds mud during operation and increases tooth surface area by up to 40% compared to competing sprockets, resulting in better chain contact and longer sprocket life. Countersinks built into the sprocket automatically center it to the hub on installation, so no separate hub center guide is needed. It is made in the USA and fits the Yamaha YZ65 from 2018 through 2026.
A 46-tooth rear sprocket on the larger end of the available range lowers overall gearing, which sharpens acceleration off the start and out of corners while reducing top-end speed.
