The ProTaper KTM 250 SX Rear Aluminum Sprocket - 53 Teeth - Red is a Race Spec series rear sprocket cut from 7075-T6 heat-treated billet aluminum and finished with a deep-penetrating anodized red coating that resists corrosion and wear. ProTaper machines an angled mud groove into both sides of every tooth, which sheds mud during riding and increases tooth surface area by up to 40% compared to competing sprockets, resulting in more chain contact and longer sprocket life. Built in the USA, it fits the KTM 250 SX from 1998 through 2026, along with a wide range of KTM, Husqvarna, and Gas Gas models. Countersinks in the sprocket automatically center it to the hub at installation, so no separate hub center guide is needed.
