ProTaper SE Windham / RM Mid Handlebar - Red

The ProTaper SE Windham / RM Mid Handlebar - Red is a 7/8 in. diameter bar built from ProTaper's proprietary 2000-series T6 aluminum alloy with a 70,000 psi rating, giving riders a solid, predictable feel at the controls. The crossbar is cold-forged aluminum with CNC-machined 6061 aluminum clamps bonded with an aerospace-grade polymer, and the finish goes through shot peening, stress relieving, and anodizing for lasting durability. Clutch-side knurling helps grips stay put, chemically applied graphics resist scratching and peeling, and the bar ships with a crossbar pad and plastic end plugs already included.

This bar has 69mm of rise, which lifts the grip area a moderate amount above the clamp and suits riders who want their hands up without going to an extreme height. The 54mm of sweep angles the grips back toward you at a comfortable but not aggressive degree, keeping wrists in a fairly relaxed position. At 800mm wide it gives good leverage, and 189mm of straight control area per side leaves plenty of room for levers and switches, with the option to cut the bar down in width if needed.
