ProTaper Contour Windham / RM Mid Handlebar - Red

The ProTaper Contour Windham / RM Mid Handlebar - Red is a 1-1/8 in. clamp handlebar from ProTaper's Contour line, built from a proprietary 2000 series T6 aluminum alloy in a 5mm wall that balances fatigue life, impact strength, and flex. The bar ships with a crossbar pad and features a shot peened, stress relieved, and anodized finish for durability, plus chemically applied graphics that resist scratching and peeling. The clutch side is knurled for a secure grip hold, and 1/4 in. cut guides are marked into the bar if you need to trim width.

This bar has a 70mm rise, which brings the grips up into a position that works well for riders who spend time standing or who prefer a more upright feel. The 53mm sweep angles the grips back toward the rider for a relaxed wrist angle rather than a straight, neutral reach. At 800mm wide with 180mm of control area for levers and switches, it offers solid leverage, and the bar can be trimmed down using the built-in cut guides if a narrower width is needed.
