The ProTaper SE Windham / RM Mid Handlebar - Jet Black is a 7/8 in. diameter aluminum handlebar built from a proprietary 2000 series T6 aluminum alloy with a 70,000 psi strength rating, giving riders solid, predictable feedback without excess flex. The crossbar is cold-forged aluminum, and the clamps are CNC-machined from 6061 aluminum and bonded with an aerospace-grade polymer. A shot-peened, stress-relieved, and anodized finish adds durability, while chemically applied graphics resist scratching and peeling. The bar ships with a crossbar pad and weighs 1.8 lbs. without it.
This bar has an 800mm width, a 69mm rise, and 54mm of sweep. The 69mm rise brings the grip area up a meaningful amount, which suits riders who spend time standing or who prefer a more upright posture. The 54mm sweep angles the grips back toward the rider for a relaxed wrist position, and 189mm of straight control area gives you room to position levers and switches without crowding.
