ProTaper SE Pastrana MX / RM Low Handlebar - Platinum Gray

The ProTaper SE Pastrana MX / RM Low Handlebar - Platinum Gray is a 7/8 in. (22.2mm) aluminum handlebar built from ProTaper's proprietary 2000 series T6 aluminum alloy, shot peened, stress-relieved, and anodized for lasting durability. The crossbar is cold-forged aluminum with CNC-machined 6061 aluminum clamps bonded with an aerospace-grade polymer, and the bar ships with a crossbar pad included. Knurling on the clutch side helps lock grips in place, and the chemically applied graphics resist scratching and peeling. This bar weighs 1.8 lbs. (820g) without the pad and suits riders who want solid, predictable feedback from a 7/8 in. bar.

This bar has 54mm of rise, which puts the grip area a moderate distance above the clamp and works well for riders who spend time standing or prefer a more upright position. The 55mm of sweep angles the grips back toward the rider at a comfortable degree, reducing wrist strain without feeling heavily pulled back. At 800mm wide with 189mm of control area on each side, there is plenty of room for levers and switches, and the bar can be trimmed narrower if needed.
