ProTaper SE Pastrana MX / RM Low Handlebar - Jet Black

The ProTaper SE Pastrana MX / RM Low Handlebar in Jet Black is a 7/8 in. aluminum handlebar built from a proprietary 2000-series T6 aluminum alloy with a cold-forged aluminum crossbar and CNC-machined 6061 aluminum clamps bonded with an aerospace-grade polymer. The finish goes through shot peening, stress relief, and anodizing for long-term durability, and the graphics are chemically applied so they resist scratching and peeling. Knurling on the clutch side helps keep grips locked in place, and plastic end plugs protect the bar ends and give grip ends a solid base. A crossbar pad is included, and the bar weighs 1.8 lbs. without it.

This bar has 54mm of rise, which puts the grip area at a moderate height that works well for a mix of seated and standing riding. The 55mm of sweep angles the grips back toward the rider for a relatively relaxed wrist position. At 800mm wide it provides good leverage, and the 189mm control area gives plenty of straight section for mounting levers and switches, though the bar can be trimmed narrower if needed.
