The ProTaper KTM 50 SX Rear Aluminum Sprocket - 38 Teeth - Black is a 38-tooth rear sprocket built from 7075-T6 heat-treated billet aluminum and CNC-machined to tight tolerances. ProTaper's Race Spec series adds angled mud grooves on both sides of every tooth, which shed mud during riding and increase tooth surface contact area by up to 40% compared to competing sprockets, extending sprocket life. A deep-penetrating anodized finish resists corrosion and wear, and countersinks in the sprocket automatically center it to the hub at installation without a separate hub center guide. Made in the USA, it fits the KTM 50 SX as well as select Gas Gas, Husqvarna, and Triumph models.
A larger rear sprocket like this 38-tooth option lowers overall gearing, which sharpens acceleration off the line but reduces maximum top speed.
