The ProTaper KTM 65 SX Rear Aluminum Sprocket - 46 Teeth - Orange is a 46-tooth rear sprocket built from 7075-T6 heat-treated billet aluminum and CNC-machined to tight tolerances, finished in a deep-penetrating anodized orange that resists corrosion and wear. It belongs to ProTaper's Race Spec series and is made in the USA. The sprocket features angled mud grooves cut into both sides of every tooth, which shed mud during riding and increase tooth surface area by up to 40% compared to competing sprockets, resulting in better chain contact and longer sprocket life. Countersinks in the sprocket self-center it on the hub during installation, so no separate hub center guide is needed. It fits the KTM 65 SX and several other small-bore bikes across multiple makes.
A larger rear sprocket like this 46-tooth option lowers overall gearing, which sharpens acceleration off the line but reduces top speed.
