The ProTaper KTM 50 SX Rear Aluminum Sprocket - 36 Teeth - Orange is a 36-tooth rear sprocket built from 7075-T6 heat-treated billet aluminum and CNC-machined for the KTM 50 SX, with fitment also covering the Husqvarna TC50, Gas Gas MC 50, and Triumph TF 250-X. ProTaper cuts angled mud grooves into both sides of every tooth, creating a self-cleaning effect that sheds mud during riding and increases tooth surface contact area by up to 40% compared to competing sprockets. A deep anodized finish in orange resists corrosion and wear, and countersunk mounting holes automatically center the sprocket to the hub so no separate centering guide is needed. This sprocket is part of ProTaper's Race Spec series and is made in the USA.
A larger rear sprocket lowers overall gearing, which sharpens acceleration off the line at the expense of top-end speed.
