The ProTaper Honda CRF250R Front Sprocket - 14 Teeth is a Race Spec (RS) front sprocket built from 655M13 nickel-chrome-molybdenum alloy steel that has been case-hardened and core-refined, then CNC machined and internally broached to tight tolerances. A proprietary coating is applied to hold off wear and corrosion, while lightening holes cut rotating weight and self-cleaning mud grooves keep dirt from packing in. It fits the Honda CRF250R as the lead application and also covers the CR125R and CRF250X across their respective year ranges, making it a solid option for Honda off-road riders running any of those machines.
A 14-tooth front sprocket raises gearing compared to a smaller front sprocket, which can improve top-end speed at the cost of some low-end snap off the line.
