The ProTaper Full Diamond Grips - Soft - Black are slide-on motorcycle grips made from a custom Kraton® rubber compound that ProTaper says resists wear and tearing over time. They suit riders who want a soft single-density grip with a full diamond pattern. These fit any 7/8 in. handlebar, and because oversize 1-1/8 in. bars taper to 7/8 in. at the ends, they work on those as well.
The full diamond pattern cuts into your palm more aggressively than a waffle surface, giving a firm, positive hold on the bar. A soft single-density compound means the rubber is tackier and more comfortable against your hands, though it will wear down more quickly than a harder material. These are slide-on grips, so you will need grip glue and safety wire to fit them, and removing them later means cutting them off.
