ProTaper Contour Windham / RM Mid Handlebar - Gray

The ProTaper Contour Windham / RM Mid Handlebar - Gray is a 1-1/8 in. clamp handlebar from ProTaper's Contour line, built from a proprietary 2000 series T6 aluminum alloy and finished with shot peening, stress relieving, and anodizing for long-term durability. The Windham / RM Mid bend is named for the profile associated with those machines, and the bar ships with a crossbar pad and plastic bar end plugs. At 1.55 lbs. without the pad, it sits at the affordable end of ProTaper's lineup while still balancing fatigue life, impact strength, and flex.

This bar has a 70mm rise, which lifts the grip area a moderate amount above the clamp and suits riders who prefer their hands higher, whether standing or seated. The 53mm sweep angles the grips back toward the rider for a reasonably relaxed wrist position without going fully upright. At 800mm wide the bar provides solid leverage, and the 180mm control area gives plenty of room for levers and switches, with 1/4 in. cut guides on the bar if you want to trim width to fit your preference.
