The ProTaper Contour Windham / RM Mid Handlebar - Blue is a 1-1/8 in. clamp aluminum handlebar from ProTaper's Contour line, built from a proprietary 2000 series T6 aluminum alloy that ProTaper says balances fatigue life, impact strength, and flex. The bar ships with a crossbar pad and weighs 1.55 lbs. (720g) without it, making the combo a solid value for riders who want a complete setup out of the box. The clutch side features knurling for grip adhesion, and the finish is shot peened, stress relieved, and anodized for durability, with chemically applied graphics that resist scratching and peeling.

This bar has a 70mm rise, which brings the grip area up noticeably above the clamp and suits riders who prefer a taller, more upright position, especially when standing. The 53mm sweep angles the grips back toward the rider for a relaxed wrist angle, and the 800mm width provides good leverage across the bars. The control area measures 180mm per side, giving you adequate straight section for levers and switches, and the bar includes 1/4 in. cut guides if you need to trim the width down.
