ProTaper Contour Windham / RM Mid Handlebar - Black

The ProTaper Contour Windham / RM Mid Handlebar - Black is a 1-1/8 in. clamp aluminum handlebar from ProTaper's Contour line, built from a proprietary 2000 series T6 aluminum alloy and finished with shot peening, stress relieving, and anodizing for lasting durability. The Windham / RM Mid bend is named for the profile those machines used, giving riders a well-known geometry in an affordable bar and pad combo. Chemically applied graphics resist scratching and peeling, knurling on the clutch side holds grips firmly, and plastic bar end plugs seal out moisture while reinforcing the grip ends.

This bar measures 800mm wide, giving you good leverage at the handlebar without going to an extreme width, and it can be trimmed using the 1/4 in. cut guides if you need to narrow it. The 70mm rise brings the grip area up meaningfully above the clamp, which works well for riders who prefer a more upright stance or spend time standing on the pegs. A 53mm sweep angles the grips back toward you at a moderate degree, keeping your wrists in a fairly relaxed position, and the 180mm control area gives you room to position levers and switches without crowding.
