The ProTaper Contour Mini High Handlebar - Jet Black is a bar-and-pad combo built from ProTaper's proprietary 2000-series T6 aluminum alloy, processed through shot peening, stress relieving, and anodizing to improve durability and finish longevity. The clutch side is knurled for a secure grip hold, the graphics are chemically applied so they resist scratching and peeling, and plastic bar end plugs protect the interior while supporting grip ends. At 1.55 lbs. without the included crossbar pad, it sits at the more accessible end of ProTaper's Contour lineup without sacrificing the material quality the line is known for.

With 76mm of rise, this bar brings the grip area noticeably higher above the clamp, favoring riders who prefer an upright position or spend time standing on the pegs. The 52mm of sweep angles the grips back toward the rider for a more relaxed wrist angle compared to a straighter bar. At 775mm wide with 200mm of control area per side, it offers solid leverage and enough straight section to mount levers and switches, and the bar can be trimmed down using the built-in 1/4-inch cut guides if a narrower width is needed.
