The ProTaper Contour ATV High Handlebar - Platinum Gray is a bar-and-pad combo built from ProTaper's proprietary 2000-series T6 aluminum alloy, which the company says balances fatigue life, impact strength, and flex at an accessible price point. The finish goes through shot peening, stress relieving, and anodizing for durability, and the graphics are chemically applied so they resist scratching and peeling. The clutch side is knurled for a secure grip hold, plastic bar end plugs seal out moisture, and a crossbar pad is included in the box.

This bar measures 813mm wide, giving you solid leverage across the bars, and it can be trimmed down using the 1/4 in. cut guides but cannot be extended beyond its stock width. The 70mm rise brings the grip area up meaningfully above the clamp, which works well for riders who spend time standing or who prefer a more upright seated position. A 55mm sweep angles the grips back toward the rider at a moderate degree, easing wrist strain without going so far back that the position feels reclined, and the 200mm control area gives you reasonable room to position levers and switches.
