ProTaper ACF Race Team Handlebar

The ProTaper ACF Race Team Handlebar is a 1-1/8 in. clamp motocross bar built around a unidirectional carbon fiber core system inside 7000 series aluminum tubing. That internal reinforcement lets ProTaper reduce wall thickness in key areas, which cuts weight by up to 20 percent compared to conventional 1-1/8 in. bars while also improving impact absorption. The aluminum itself is shot-peened, stress-relieved, and anodized for long-term durability. This bar is made for riders who want a lighter, more compliant bar without giving up the strength of aluminum construction.

The Race Team bend has 44.3mm of rise, which lifts the grip area a moderate amount above the clamp and works well for riders who spend time standing on the pegs. Sweep comes in at 52.2mm, angling the grips back toward the rider enough to keep the wrists in a fairly relaxed, natural position. The bar is 810mm wide and can be trimmed down, and the Control+ design provides 220mm of straight control area, which is up to 40mm more than a typical 1-1/8 in. bar and leaves generous room for levers, mapping switches, and electric starter buttons.
