ProTaper ACF Carmichael Handlebar - Black

The ProTaper ACF Carmichael Handlebar - Black is a carbon fiber reinforced aluminum motocross handlebar built around ProTaper's ACF construction, which places unidirectional carbon fiber cores inside 7000-series aluminum tubing to allow wall thickness reductions in key areas, cutting weight by up to 20 percent compared to conventional 1-1/8 in. handlebars while improving impact absorption. The aluminum itself is shot-peened, stress-relieved, and anodized for lasting durability. This bar is aimed at riders who want a lighter, more compliant bar without giving up the strength of a full aluminum design.

This bar has a 33mm rise, which keeps the grip area moderately elevated above the clamp and suits a fairly upright riding position without going too tall. The 64mm sweep angles the grips back toward the rider for a relaxed wrist angle, and the 800mm width provides solid leverage that can be trimmed down if needed. The Control+ layout delivers 220mm of straight control area, which is up to 40mm more than a standard 1-1/8 in. bar and leaves plenty of room for levers, mapping switches, and electric starter controls.
