Water Pumps
Water Pumps & Complete Rebuild Kits
Restore full velocity to your cooling loop with precision powersports water pump rebuild kits and high-flow impellers. The water pump is the mechanical heart of your engine's thermal management system. Over time, internal bearings wear loose, and specialized mechanical seals harden, allowing coolant to weep past the shaft into your transmission oil or crankcase. Our complete overhaul packages feature premium bearings, double-lipped oil seals, model-specific gaskets, and durable replacement shafts to keep your liquid circulation flawless.
How do I know if my motorcycle or ATV water pump mechanical seal has failed internally?
Most powersports water pump housings feature a tiny "weep hole" drilled into the bottom of the casing. If the internal mechanical seal fails, coolant will begin to slowly drip out of this weep hole, indicating that the primary fluid barrier has been breached. If the secondary oil seal fails concurrently, you may notice your engine oil turning into a milky, frothy light-brown mixture, indicating internal coolant contamination.
What is the mechanical benefit of upgrading to an oversized, high-flow water pump impeller?
Oversized or altered-vane high-flow impellers increase the total volume of coolant moved through the engine blocks and radiator per minute. By accelerating fluid velocity at lower engine RPMs, the coolant spends less time soaking up extreme heat inside the cylinder jacket before being sent back to the radiators to cool down, effectively lowering overall operating temperatures during technical, low-speed maneuvers.
