Powersports Brake Pads
Achieve immediate stopping power and precise high-speed modulation by replacing worn friction material with premium powersports brake pads. Different riding environments demand highly specialized material chemistry. Explore our curated selection of sintered copper alloy pads engineered to survive track heat and abrasive trail mud, advanced ceramic formulations that offer smooth, low-noise street performance with zero dust, and carbon-organic pads designed to give vintage and lightweight machines a progressive, predictable initial bite.
What is the difference between sintered and organic brake pads?
Sintered pads are manufactured by fusing metallic particles together under intense heat and pressure, offering excellent friction stability at extreme temperatures, long wear life, and superior performance in wet or muddy conditions. Organic pads use softer fibers bound by resin; they provide a smoother, quieter initial bite and place much less mechanical wear on rotors, but fade quicker under heavy high-temperature track use.
How can I tell when my powersports brake pads need to be replaced?
Most modern brake pads feature built-in wear indicator grooves cast directly into the friction material. If the pad material has worn down flush with the bottom of these grooves, or if the total friction lining thickness measures under 2mm, they require immediate replacement. Never allow pads to wear down to the steel backing plate, as this causes catastrophic rotor damage.
