The ProTaper Yamaha YZ450F/250F/WR250F Aluminum Shifter is a direct-replacement shift lever built from forged 6061 aluminum for Yamaha YZ and WR riders. It fits the 2006-2013 YZ250F, 2006-2013 YZ450F, 2007-2009 and 2011-2013 WR250F, and 2007-2009 and 2011-2015 WR450F. ProTaper machines it to OEM specifications so it installs without modification.
This shifter replaces the stock unit and includes a folding shift tip with a knurled surface, which helps retain boot grip during gear changes and folds away to reduce damage risk in a crash.
