The ProTaper SE Factory Suzuki / KTM Stock Handlebar - Platinum Gray is a 7/8 in. aluminum handlebar built for riders who want firm, predictable steering feel. ProTaper forms the bar from a proprietary 2000 series T6 aluminum alloy, shot peens and stress-relieves it, then finishes it with an anodized coating for lasting durability. The crossbar is cold-forged aluminum, its clamps are CNC-machined from 6061 aluminum and bonded with an aerospace-grade polymer, and the package includes a crossbar pad. The Factory Suzuki / KTM Stock bend name refers to the geometry profile, and this bar is offered across several makes.
This bar has 61mm of rise, which lifts the grip area a moderate amount above the clamp and suits a range of riding positions from seated to standing. The 47mm of sweep angles the grips noticeably back toward the rider, easing wrist angle and reducing fatigue on longer stints. At 800mm wide with 190mm of usable control area per side, the bar offers good leverage and enough straight section for levers and switches, and width can be trimmed down if a narrower setup is needed.
