The ProTaper SE KLX110/DRZ110 Handlebar - Black is a 7/8 in. aluminum handlebar built for riders who want solid, predictable feedback from their controls. ProTaper makes it from a proprietary 2000-series T6 aluminum alloy with a wall thickness of 5mm, then puts it through shot peening, stress relieving, and anodizing for lasting durability. The crossbar is cold-forged aluminum, the clamps are CNC-machined from 6061 aluminum and bonded with an aerospace-grade polymer, and the graphics are chemically applied so they resist scratching and peeling. It comes in at 1.8 lbs. without the pad and ships with a crossbar pad included.
This bar has 123mm of rise, which brings the grip area well above the clamp and works well for riders who spend time standing or who prefer an upright position. The 44mm of sweep angles the grips back toward the rider for a more relaxed wrist angle. At 800mm wide it provides good leverage, and the 200mm control area gives you plenty of straight section to position levers and switches where you want them.
