ProTaper SE CR High Handlebar - Red

The ProTaper SE CR High Handlebar - Red is a 7/8 in. aluminum handlebar built from ProTaper's proprietary 2000 series T6 aluminum alloy, cold-forged and shot peened, then stress-relieved and anodized for lasting durability. The crossbar is cold-forged aluminum with CNC-machined 6061 aluminum clamps bonded with an aerospace-grade polymer, and the bar ships with a crossbar pad included. At 1.8 lbs., it suits riders who want solid, predictable feedback from a lightweight 7/8 in. bar.

This bar runs 800mm wide, giving good leverage at the grips, and the clamp area stretches 233mm with 186mm of control area available for levers and switches. The 67mm of rise brings the grip area well above the clamp, which works in favor of taller riders and those who spend time standing on the pegs. A 60mm sweep angles the grips noticeably back toward the rider, putting the wrists in a more relaxed, natural position rather than a straight, neutral one.
