ProTaper SE CR High Handlebar - Jet Black

The ProTaper SE CR High Handlebar - Jet Black is a 7/8 in. aluminum handlebar built from a proprietary 2000 series T6 aluminum alloy rated at 70,000 psi, with a cold-forged aluminum crossbar and CNC-machined crossbar clamps bonded with an aerospace-grade polymer. The bar goes through shot peening and stress relief before anodizing, and the clutch side is knurled for grip adhesion. It ships with a crossbar pad and comes in at 1.8 lbs. without it, making it a solid choice for riders who want firm, predictable feedback from their bars.

With 67mm of rise and 95mm of height, the CR High bend sits notably tall, bringing the grip area well up and making it a natural fit for riders who spend time standing or who prefer a more upright, relaxed posture. The 60mm of sweep angles the grips back toward the rider at a comfortable degree, keeping the wrists in a relaxed position rather than a straight, neutral one. The bar measures 800mm wide and offers 186mm of control area per side for levers and switches, and like any bar it can be trimmed narrower but cannot be extended.
