ProTaper Race Cut 1/2 Waffle Grips

The ProTaper Race Cut 1/2 Waffle Grips - Black were developed with input from AMA Pro Supercross and Motocross racers as a limited edition option built to hold up through a full racing season. ProTaper combines a half waffle surface with tie-wire cut lines and a particularly soft, tacky compound to give riders a secure, comfortable hold lap after lap. These slide-on grips fit any standard 7/8 in. handlebar, and because oversize 1-1/8 in. bars taper to 7/8 in. at the grip ends, they work on those bars too.

The half waffle pattern gives a positive grip surface that improves traction between your hands and the bar without the more aggressive bite of a full diamond or waffle cut. ProTaper describes the compound as extra supple and tacky, which puts comfort and vibration damping first, though softer compounds do wear faster than firmer ones, so these suit riders who prioritize feel over longevity. These are slide-on grips, so plan on grip glue and safety wire to mount them.
