The ProTaper Pro Series Clamp-On Pillow Top Grips - Blue/Black are a clamp-on grip built around ProTaper's pillow top pattern, which adds rubber thickness to soften the feel and reduce hand fatigue over long rides. ProTaper bonds a tacky grip compound directly to a durable polypropylene core to prevent slippage, and the tapered end creates a tight, secure fit. These grips suit any rider looking for a comfortable, easy-to-install option on a standard or oversize handlebar.
The pillow top pattern adds cushioning between your hands and the bar, which helps take the edge off vibration and reduces arm pump during longer or rougher rides. Clamp-on grips secure with a clamp rather than glue and wire, so installation is straightforward and removal does not require cutting the grip off. Because every ProTaper grip is bored to 7/8 in., they fit standard 7/8 in. bars as well as oversize 1-1/8 in. bars, which taper to 7/8 in. at the ends.
