ProTaper Kawasaki KX250 Rear Aluminum Sprocket - 49 Teeth - Black

The ProTaper Kawasaki KX250 Rear Aluminum Sprocket - 49 Teeth - Black is a 49-tooth rear sprocket built from 7075-T6 heat-treated billet aluminum and finished with a deep-penetrating anodized coating that resists corrosion and wear. ProTaper machines an angled mud groove into both sides of every tooth, which sheds mud during riding and increases tooth surface area by up to 40% compared to competing sprockets, extending chain contact and sprocket life. Countersinks built into the sprocket automatically center it to the hub on installation, no separate hub centering guide required. Made in the USA as part of ProTaper's Race Spec series, it fits a wide range of Kawasaki dirt bikes and dual-sport models, including the KX250, KX450, KX250F, KX450F, KLX300R, and more.

A larger rear sprocket like this 49-tooth unit lowers your overall gearing, giving you quicker off-the-line acceleration and stronger drive out of corners at the expense of top-end speed.
