The ProTaper Kawasaki KLX250S Front Sprocket - 14 Teeth is a Race Spec (RS) front sprocket built for the Kawasaki KLX250S and related models. ProTaper CNC machines it from case-hardened, core-refined 655M13 nickel-chrome-molybdenum alloy steel, then internally broaches it to close tolerances. Lightening holes cut rotating weight, mud grooves help shed dirt during riding, and a proprietary coating resists wear and corrosion. It suits KLX250S riders who want a well-made replacement or gearing change.
A 14-tooth front sprocket lowers overall gearing compared to a larger front sprocket, giving quicker acceleration off the line at the cost of some top-end speed.
