The ProTaper Kawasaki KX450F Front Sprocket - 14 Teeth is a Race Spec (RS) front sprocket built for Kawasaki KX450F riders and a range of other KX450 and KLX450 models. It is CNC machined and internally broached from case-hardened 655M13 nickel-chrome-molybdenum alloy steel, with lightening holes to cut rotating weight and mud grooves to shed dirt during hard riding. A proprietary coating is applied to resist wear and corrosion over the long haul.
A smaller front sprocket like this 14-tooth option lowers your overall gearing, which sharpens acceleration off the line and out of corners while bringing down top-end speed.
