The ProTaper EVO Woods High Handlebar - Black is ProTaper's flagship unbraced handlebar, built from a proprietary 7000-series aluminum alloy with a 4mm wall and a shot-peened, stress-relieved, anodized finish topped with an epoxy interior coating. ProTaper's own lab testing shows it outlasts every other handlebar on the market in fatigue life, and the unbraced design provides more flex and impact absorption than conventional bars without giving up strength. At 1.4 lbs., it runs up to 25% lighter and 45% stronger than competing handlebars, making it a solid choice for off-road and woods riders who want durability without added weight.

The Woods High bend sits 69mm tall at the rise with a 97mm overall height, bringing the grip area up noticeably and suiting riders who spend time standing or prefer a more upright position. A 65mm sweep angles the grips back toward the rider for a more relaxed wrist angle on longer rides. The bar comes at 800mm wide for good leverage, and the 180mm control area gives ample room to position levers and switches, with the option to cut the bar narrower if needed.
