ProTaper Contour Carmichael Handlebar - Orange

The ProTaper Contour Carmichael Handlebar - Orange is a full-size aluminum handlebar built around ProTaper's Contour line, which targets riders looking for a solid balance of durability and value without stepping up to a higher-tier bar. It is made from a proprietary 2000-series T6 aluminum alloy processed at 5mm wall thickness, then shot peened, stress relieved, and anodized for long-term finish durability. The Carmichael bend is named after the riding profile associated with that setup, and the bar ships with a crossbar pad included.

This bar has a 40mm rise, which lifts the grip area a moderate amount above the clamp and suits riders who want a slightly upright position whether seated or standing. The 55mm sweep angles the grips back toward the rider at a noticeable degree, taking some stress off the wrists during longer rides or aggressive terrain. At 800mm wide it offers substantial leverage, and the 180mm control area on each side gives plenty of straight section to mount levers and switches, with 1/4-inch cut guides built in if you need to trim the width down.
