ProTaper Contour ATV Mid Handlebar - Jet Black

The ProTaper Contour ATV Mid Handlebar - Jet Black is a bar-and-pad combo built from ProTaper's proprietary 2000 series T6 aluminum alloy, processed through shot peening, stress relieving, and anodizing to give the metal lasting durability. The clutch side is knurled for a secure grip hold, and 1/4 in. cut guides make trimming straightforward if needed. At 1.55 lbs. without the pad, it comes in light, and a crossbar pad is included in the box.

This bar has a 70mm rise, which lifts the grip area well above the clamp and works well for riders who spend time standing or who prefer their bars higher up. The 56mm sweep angles the grips back toward the rider, putting the wrists in a comfortable, relatively relaxed position rather than a straight, neutral one. At 813mm wide with 200mm of control area per side, there is good leverage on hand and enough straight section to mount levers and switches without crowding, and the bar can be trimmed down using the built-in cut guides if a narrower width suits the rider better.
