The ProTaper 520MX1 Gold Series Chain is a 520-pitch motocross chain built from chromoly steel and finished in gold. ProTaper puts every component through their own proprietary heat-treating process to extend the chain's working life and overall durability. With 8,800 lbs. of tensile strength, it is sized for 125cc to 530cc four-stroke applications.
The 520 pitch must match your bike's front and rear sprockets as well as the countershaft. Because a chain can be shortened but not lengthened, confirm the link count you need before ordering and choose a length that meets or exceeds that number.
