The ProTaper CS4 Kawasaki KFX450R Rear Steel Sprocket - 37 Teeth is a replacement rear sprocket built for the 2008-2014 Kawasaki KFX450R. ProTaper makes it from high-strength 460 steel and shapes the teeth using a diamond-cut process they say produces a surface 25% harder than standard, which translates directly to longer service life. A proprietary KTL finish protects the steel against wear and corrosion. It is a solid choice for off-road and motocross riders who put hard hours on their quad and want a sprocket that holds up.
Running a larger rear sprocket like this 37-tooth unit lowers your overall gearing, giving you quicker acceleration off the line at the cost of some top-end speed.
