No Toil Filter Cleaner mixes directly with water to clean No-Toil treated air filters without the need for solvents. It works by breaking down the waterproofing chemicals in No-Toil filter oil and rim grease, then washing away the loosened oil, grease, dust, and dirt. The solution is non-toxic, free of fumes and odor, and gentle enough for skin contact, so it can be used in a bucket or sink. Because it is biodegradable, the used solution can be poured straight down the drain when cleaning is done.
Filter cleaner is used to wash the oil and trapped dirt out of a foam filter before it is re-oiled. Work it through the foam, rinse until the water runs clear, then let the filter dry completely before applying fresh oil.
