The Motul 5100 4T Synthetic Blend Oil 10W-50 1L is a synthetic blend four-stroke engine oil built around Motul's Ester Technology, which Motul says improves engine response. The formula carries an SL API rating, making it compatible with catalytic converter-equipped bikes, and a low sulfur and phosphorus content supports that compatibility. Motul also includes a proprietary extreme pressure additive package aimed at protecting the gearbox.

This oil is rated 10W-50, where 10W reflects the cold-temperature flow rating and 50 is the viscosity rating at operating temperature. Match the grade to whatever your service manual specifies. The formula is recommended for all four-stroke engines, and the one-litre bottle is a practical size for a single oil change on a smaller displacement machine.
