The Alpinestars SMX Plus boots are engineered for high-performance motorcycle riding, combining advanced protection with exceptional comfort. The front flex zone, crafted from soft microfiber, enhances forward and backward motion, while the accordion microfiber on the Achilles area provides additional natural movement and support. Designed with safety and support in mind, the SMX Plus incorporates Alpinestars' evolution of the Multi-Link Control system, offering external protection and support for ankle articulation. This system limits hyper-torsion, hyper-extension, and hyper-flexion, reducing injury risk while providing optimal ankle mobility. The boots feature a dual-density TPU replaceable toe slider with a screw-in assembly for reliable protection around the outer toe, complemented by replaceable heel and side heel sliders that absorb shock and facilitate sliding during an accident. Large, asymmetrical accordion zones at the front and rear maximize flexibility and comfort, ensuring a secure and natural fit during rides.
The internal lining combines advanced synthetic materials laminated with open cell foam, providing shock absorption and breathability in the ankle and leg areas for all-day comfort. The anatomically shaped, replaceable EVA footbed offers arch support and precise pedal feel, enhancing control and reducing fatigue. The durable rubber sole is textured for consistent grip and improved riding feel, while the inner instep speed lacing closure and lateral zipper enable a secure and customized fit. An innovative Lace-Lock System, made from advanced polymer resin, ensures quick, precise, and secure closure, and hook-and-loop tabs keep the zipper flat and safe.
