Yuasa YTX9-BS Maintenance Free AGM 12-Volt Battery w/ Acid Bottle (MPN: YUAM329BSIND)
Deliver reliable, high-output starting power for your sportbike, cruiser, dual-sport motorcycle, scooter, or ATV. The Yuasa YTX9-BS Maintenance Free AGM 12-Volt Battery w/ Acid Bottle is a compact, high-performance AGM starter module engineered to withstand the demanding cranking requirements of modern powersports engines [MPN: YUAM329BSIND]. Shipped dry alongside a pre-measured, squeeze-bottle acid pack, this dry-charged lead-calcium battery ensures maximum chemical freshness upon initial activation. Once filled and permanently sealed with the included flush cap strip, the Absorbed Glass Mat (AGM) internal structure absorbs the electrolyte completely—creating a spill-proof, leak-proof cell that resists high-frequency engine vibration and eliminates fluid maintenance.
Universal Battery Specification Parameters
This dry-charged AGM battery conforms to standard BCI YTX9-BS casing dimensions (150 mm x 87 mm x 105 mm / 5.94 in. x 3.44 in. x 4.13 in.), featuring a Left-Side Positive and Right-Side Negative terminal polarization layout. Constructed with durable lead-calcium grid alloy and a high-impact polypropylene case, the internal architecture reduces self-discharge rates and protects against grid sulfation during off-season storage. Heavy-duty cast terminals provide low-resistance electrical connectivity. To maximize service life, ensure the vehicle charging system output remains between 13.8V and 14.8V, utilizing an automatic lead-acid smart maintainer during extended idle periods.

Other Applications
This dry-charged YTX9-BS unit fits OEM battery trays requiring a 150 mm x 87 mm x 105 mm footprint with Left-Hand Positive polarity layout. It acts as a direct replacement for dry-charged or factory-activated YTX9-BS, YTX9, GTX9-BS, and FTX9-BS batteries across motorcycles, ATVs, scooters, and personal watercraft demanding high cranking performance in a standard medium-compact casing.
CRITICAL INSTALLATION AND SAFETY NOTES: Always follow proper activation steps: remove the sealing foil strip, press the included acid bottle pack evenly into the cell ports, allow all electrolyte to fill the cells completely, and leave the battery uncapped for 30 to 60 minutes to eliminate trapped gas bubbles. Securely press the sealing strip completely flat into the top ports; once sealed, never remove the cap strip or add liquid. Always disconnect the negative (-) ground cable first during battery removal and reconnect the negative (-) ground cable last during installation to prevent chassis shorts. Fully charge the battery with an automatic lead-acid charger after sealing to achieve peak performance before initial engine starting.
