Yuasa 6N4A-4D Conventional 6-volt battery
The Yuasa 6N4A-4D is a conventional (flooded) lead-acid battery. Check the electrolyte level and top up with distilled water as part of routine maintenance. It's rated at 6 volts, 4 Ah (10-hour rate), measures 2 3/8 in. x 2 1/4 in. x 5 1/8 in. (61mm x 57mm x 131mm) and weighs 1.7 lb. Select your bike in the vehicle selector to confirm this is the battery size your machine takes.
- Charging: Yuasa's standard charge rate for this battery is 0.4 A. To keep it topped up during storage, a maintainer such as the Yuasa 900mA 6V/12V Charger & Maintainer is optional.
- Install tip: disconnect the negative (-) cable first when removing the old battery, and connect it last when installing the new one.
