The Yuasa 51913 is a high-performance conventional (flooded) lead-acid battery from Yuasa's Yumicron line. Like any flooded battery, check the electrolyte level and top up with distilled water as part of routine maintenance. It's rated at 12 volts, 19 Ah (10-hour rate), measures 7 7/16 in. x 3 1/4 in. x 6 7/8 in. (186mm x 82mm x 171mm) and weighs 9.4 lb. Select your bike in the vehicle selector to confirm this is the battery size your machine takes.
- Charging: Yuasa's standard charge rate for this battery is 1.9 A. To keep it topped up during storage, a maintainer such as the Yuasa 1.2 Amp Charger & Maintainer is optional.
- Install tip: disconnect the negative (-) cable first when removing the old battery, and connect it last when installing the new one.
