Twin Air Standard Air Filter - Husqvarna TC 85 2018-2025 uses a dual-bonded foam construction that captures fine dirt particles while flowing more air than filters made from two separate foam layers, a result Twin Air backs with flow bench testing. It comes sized slightly smaller than a stock filter, which makes it easier to install and remove and adds extra dead air space around the filter for better performance. A flat foam sealing ring sits against the airbox opening to hold a secure seal even in tough riding conditions.
Foam air filters are serviced rather than replaced on a fixed schedule, so how long one lasts depends on the conditions you ride in. Clean it with a dedicated filter cleaner, let it dry completely, then re-oil before fitting. Many riders keep a second filter on the shelf so a freshly oiled one is always ready.
