Twin Air Replacement Backfire Air Filter - Suzuki LTR 450 Quadracer 2006-2011 is built slightly smaller than the stock filter, which makes installation easier and opens up more dead air space around it for better performance. It uses a dual-bonded foam construction that catches even the smallest dirt particles while flowing more air than filters made from two separate foam layers, a result Twin Air backs with flow bench testing. A flat foam sealing ring seats firmly against the airbox to maintain a secure fit in tough riding conditions. A laminated layer of backfire-retardant foam is included as part of the build.

Foam air filters are serviced rather than replaced on a fixed schedule, so how long one lasts depends on the conditions you ride in. Clean it with a dedicated filter cleaner, let it dry completely, then re-oil before fitting. Many riders keep a second filter on the shelf so a freshly oiled one is always ready.
