The QuadBoss QBT454 Utility ATV/UTV Tire 27x9R12 6 Ply is a radial utility tire built to give a smooth, consistent ride across a range of terrain types. QuadBoss designed the non-directional tread to handle varied conditions and included a built-in rim guard to help protect the wheel from damage.
The size code 27x9R12 tells you the tire has a 27 in. overall diameter, a 9 in. section width, and mounts on a 12 in. rim. The 12 in. rim diameter places this tire in the overlap zone that suits large utility ATVs and older or smaller utility UTVs, which is why the vehicle class is listed as both. Your wheel must be a 12 in. rim, and your machine needs enough fender and suspension clearance for the full 27 in. diameter and 9 in. width. At 6 ply, the carcass offers a meaningful level of puncture resistance while the radial construction keeps the ride relatively compliant, and the non-directional tread pattern is suited to general utility use across mixed terrain.
