The ProTaper CS4 Suzuki LT-R450 QuadRacer Rear Steel Sprocket - 38 Teeth is a rear sprocket built specifically for the 2006-2009 Suzuki LT-R450 QuadRacer. ProTaper makes it from high-strength 460 steel and cuts the teeth using their Diamond-Cut process, which they say produces teeth 25% harder than standard. A KTL finish coating is applied to help the sprocket resist wear over time. It is a solid choice for off-road and motocross riders who put durability at the top of their list.
A 38-tooth rear sprocket raises or lowers your final drive ratio depending on what you are replacing. Moving to a larger rear sprocket shortens gearing for stronger acceleration off the line, while a smaller one extends gearing for higher top speed.
