The ProTaper SE Honda Mini Handlebar - Silver is a 7/8 in. aluminum handlebar built from ProTaper's proprietary 2000 series T6 aluminum alloy with a 5mm wall, rated at 70,000 psi, and aimed at riders who want solid, predictable feedback from their controls. The crossbar is cold-forged aluminum, and its clamps are CNC-machined from 6061 aluminum and bonded with an aerospace-grade polymer. The bar ships with a crossbar pad, features clutch-side knurling for grip adhesion, and weighs 1.8 lbs. (820g) without the pad.
With 89mm of rise, this bar lifts the grip area noticeably above the clamp, which works well for riders who spend time standing or who prefer a more upright position. The 50mm of sweep angles the grips back toward the rider, putting the wrists in a relatively relaxed, natural angle rather than a straight-ahead position. At 730mm wide the bar provides good leverage, and the 195mm control area gives you plenty of straight section to position levers and switches.
